Bruce is trained as a Counseling Psychologist and has been licensed in California since 1984 and Nevada since 2022 .  He is Emeritus Professor at the Dugoni School, University of the Pacific where he taught behavior sciences, including doctor-patient communication skills, biomedical ethics, and life-work balance.

 

He currently teaches a wide variety of courses in the Counseling Psychology programs at the University of San Francisco and Santa Clara University. 

 

He provides Executive Coaching and Assessments for several large international and small companies nationwide.

 

He provides remediation services for healthcare providers (physicians, dentists, psychotherapists and others) referred by state licensing boards (130 cases over the past 25 years).

 

He also maintains a small psychotherapy practice in San Francisco and Carson City, Nevada.
